Nymphadora Black-Tonks, Halfblood ||

TONKS is a Metamorphagus. She hates her given name "Nymphadora," and prefers to be called "Tonks." She studied at Hogwarts from 1984 to 1991 and was sorted in Hufflepuff House. Thereafter, she trained to become an Auror under Alastor Moody and qualified in 1994, becoming one of the youngest Aurors on her team.

She joined the Order of the Phoenix when it was resurrected and fought in the Battle of in the Department of Mysteries and the Battle of the Astronomy Tower. She married Remus Lupin in 1997 and had a son in 1998. They named him Teddy, who, like his mother, was a Metamorphagus. Shortly thereafter, Tonks participated in the Battle of Hogwarts and fell at the hands of Bellatrix Lestrange.

Nymphadora Tonks, first of all, does not acknowledge her first name because it is stupid and silly-sounding, which just speaks volumes for her personality. She, first of all, does not care too much for tradition and the old ways and how things used to be done. She likes making new paths and forging new methods and testing new ideas. She is very energetic and very bubbly. She is always eager to help and, despite blaming her mother for her poor choice in baby names, looks up to her mother.

Tonks is a very open person who can make friends easily. She is honest and unguarded, making it quite easy to see how she is feeling and what she is thinking on most days. She does, however, have her own secrets and these secrets she can keep well if she needs to. Tonks is also easily placated and it typically does not take much to please her or to make her happy.

On the other hand, Tonks is easily swayed by her own emotions. Her abilities as a Metamorphmagus, for instance, can be affected by a bad mood or an ill temper. She is not in complete control of her emotions and can let these run away from her. She also allows her emotions to sometimes get the better of her and overwhelm her to the point that it affects her performance.

No one in the world knows what Tonks really looks like. Even Tonks herself may have forgotten how she looked like. And, even if she could remember what she looked like as a baby, she cannot say that she can truly guess how her facial features would have progressed. She has assumed that she would have a heart-shaped face like her mother and eyes the color of her father's, but with the twinkle of defiance her mother's possesses.

Tonks had known for some time what she wanted to be. While other girls idolized pop stars or Gilderoy Lockhart, she idolized Alastor Moody. She had wanted to become an Auror since she was young, though she kept it a secret from her Mother, who was not very amused by the idea of her daughter being in the middle of danger so often.

Despite her clumsiness, Tonks is actually a very good student. She gets exceptional grades as long as she studies hard. She has a good head on her shoulders and a shrewd mind, though she kinda thinks most Ravenclaws are weird, which is not necessarily a bad thing.

Tonks doesn't believe in fate and in divination. She hates that class and thinks it's a complete waste of time. Tonks believes in making your own destiny and making your own path. There is no magical force in the world that decides beforehand what's going to happen in our lives. While she's open to the idea of a divine being, she doesn't believe in predestination.

Though she has a rambunctious and playful nature, Tonks does have a feminine side that enjoys shopping and getting her nails done. She likes chocolate and talking about boys and all that fun stuff.
